I like it in theory. That theory being that fast response frigates are a thing. Like interceptors fit for combat.... I cannot stress how broken, wrong and unfun this sort of a ship would be if anyone were to implement it as you propose.

Coding nightmare. Reduces all of the things about knowing your ship and weapons. i.e. skills WAY more free intel than the one thing needed to be able to derive approximately what it is (the signature radius) -1.
